AMA Phoenix Star Member of December: Kurt Parker

Kurt Parker has been named the AMA Phoenix Star Member of the Month for December.

Kurt has been involved in technical sales and marketing for 25 years, with a specialty in semiconductors. He is currently a product marketing manager for the 32-bit microcontroller division of Microchip Technology. His job involves identifying product needs, crafting new product proposals, and managing all aspects of product launch and promotion. He’s also responsible for managing non-standard customer action requests. 

Kurt has given lectures and has even been published in several trade publications. He holds a Master’s in Systems Engineering and Business from Arizona State University and Bachelor in Electrical Engineering from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology.

Kurt has been married to his high school sweetheart for 26 years. They have a daughter who is studying at University of Arizona. In his spare time, he enjoys photography, grilling, chess, working on anything outside and the Green Bay Packers. He’s also a lay volunteer for the junior high and high school youth groups at his church.
