Caitlin WendtVP of Collegiate Relations
- Northern Arizona University
Although she doesn’t have a glittery tail and pointy horn, Caitlin Wendt is considered a unicorn for being a born and raised Phoenician. After her high school days, she studied public relations and journalism in the snow country of Flagstaff at Northern Arizona University. Though she no longer lives 15 minutes from a ski-lift, she still enjoy snowboarding during the winter season and hiking trails in the spring.
Creating is both Caitlin’s passion and her trade. As a business development program director at Banner Health, she created digital engagement strategies to bring awareness of our service lines and instill confidence in our business customer, so that they felt secure to send their patient to Banner’s care sites. She was lucky enough to learn from some incredible leaders throughout her career and experiment with different content tactics to see which will resonate with the target audience. It turned out that podcasts were the sweet spot and Caitlin launched Banner Health’s medical conversation show called Making the Rounds.
Experimenting isn’t just at Caitlin’s newly constructed home office though; she loves to create new recipes and draw landscapes with colored pencils. If you get the chance, her peanut butter cookies are melt-in-your-mouth delicious…straight from the unicorn’s mouth.
