Kaila Strong, Director of Social Media, American Marketing Association, Phoenix Chapter, was named Star Member of AMA Phoenix for April 2018.

Strong has worked with the Marketing and Communications Team at AMA Phoenix since March 2017 to help develop and execute the organization’s social media strategy.

“Kaila is an unstoppable force for AMA Phoenix, and her most recent contributions have made our online brand more visible than ever,” Naomi Garnice, V.P. of Marketing and Communications, AMA Phoenix, said. “Kaila is a strong marketer and a powerful contributor. I’m proud to have her on our team.”

Strong, Director of Marketing, Jupiter Research, Scottsdale, Ariz., is experienced in interactive marketing, digital marketing and traditional advertising. She has extensive experience with managing marketing teams, and overseeing marketing strategy, competitive analysis and website development. She has been a speaker at SMX Conferences, Pubcon and local conferences such as Local First Arizona, and the IFCA Conference where she has presented to marketing professionals on the topics of search, social media and content marketing. She was SEO Strategist and Interactive Accounts Supervisor at Lavidge, Phoenix, and Senior Director of SEO Services and Director of Client Strategy at Vertical Measures, Phoenix. She has earned a bachelor’s of arts degree in political science from the University of Montana.

The AMA Phoenix Star Member of the Month Program was created to promote and retain AMA Phoenix membership, encourage upcoming leaders and recognize high-performing active members who give back to AMA Phoenix. Executive leaders of the AMA Phoenix board of directors nominate candidates as Star Members.
