Collegiate Info

shadowAMA Phoenix is actively involved with the Valley’s institutions of higher learning. We have a collaborative relationship with the ASU AMA Chapter, Thunderbird, and The American Graduate School of International Management’s Chapter. And we are helping Grand Canyon University’s Student Chapter get off the ground. We will keep you informed of opportunities for your business through this committee’s efforts.

AMA Phoenix hosts semi-annual Shadow Day events. It is part of AMA Phoenix’s continuing effort to provide Marketing students with professional contacts, exposure to the working world, and mentoring avenues. For the companies who host the student, it is a great way to find potential interns or even new employees. In the past we have had great mentors from companies like Fender Musical Instrument Company, LifeLock, the AZ Tech Council, Kahala Corp, Avnet, Defero, Cramer-Krasselt, Park & Co, Terralever, Universal Technical Institute, Carrington College, GoDaddy.com, AIR Marketing, City of Chandler, Off Madison Ave, David & Sam PR, and many more incredible companies.

Shadow Day provides AMA members with a great opportunity to mentor a student for the day. And we are looking for volunteers to become involved.
