Tom Venafro has worked in marketing and sales for various organizations and industries such as building materials, consumer packaged goods, food and beverage, safety, aviation, aerospace, sports, radio, and non-profit organizations. He earned a bachelor’s degree in marketing from Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania, and has worked in marketing complex spine devices at K2M, Inc., radio marketing and promotions at Townsquare Media, sports marketing for the Butler BlueSox, food and beverage at PepsiCo, chimney and roofing products for Natural Light Energy Systems/National Chimney, and building products in the hospitality industry for Source Direct.
Venafro has appeared on industry-related interviews and has experience marketing products for all 300-plus Menards retail stores, Home Depot.com and more. He led a Lean Six Sigma project at PepsiCo, implementing the Marketplace Value Program to accounts in the Erie, Penn., area, ranking his PepsiCo location highly nationwide in 2015.
Venafro also serves on the board of directors of the Arizona Hearth, Patio and Barbecue Association, formerly as secretary of Sweep Away Cancer, and is founder of the Arizona Chimney Sweep Guild.
His diverse expertise includes advertising, point-of-purchase design, planograms, packaging artwork, email marketing, product management, brand management, social media marketing, website development, copywriting, logistics, supply-chain management, Lean Six Sigma doctrine, safety consulting, career counseling and coaching.
