“As vice president of marketing at Western Window Systems, I’ve helped to create one of the fastest-growing private companies in America, with a three-year growth of 279 percent, expansion in geographic and demographic markets, and award-winning communication initiatives,” Hahnefeld said.
She has earned a bachelor’s degree in visual communications from Kendall College of Art and Design, Grand Rapids, Mich. She has held creative positions at PetSmart, Kohl’s Department Stores, Sears, Roebuck and Co., and was a food critic at Phoenix New Times.
“Implementing ideas and achieving results motivates me the most, especially when I can inspire others to do their best along the way,” Hahnefeld said. “And thanks to the many hats I’ve worn throughout my career—writer, designer, teacher, manager, strategist—I have a unique ability to manage multi-disciplinary projects, overcome obstacles, and create enthusiasm.”
The AMA Phoenix Star Member of the Month Program was created to promote and retain AMA Phoenix membership, encourage upcoming leaders and recognize high-performing active members who give back to AMA Phoenix.
