Jessica Nyandamu, Marketing Analyst, MSS Business Transformation Institute, Phoenix, was named Star Member of American Marketing Association, Phoenix Chapter, for November 2018.
Nyandamu resides in the Phoenix area and has been actively involved with the AMA Phoenix Chapter, including her work as Director of Collegiate Relations since the beginning of 2018.
“As the fifth-largest city in the United States, Phoenix is a hub for marketing innovation, and AMA Phoenix is at the center of it,” Nyandamu said. “It is crucial for Phoenix marketers to be a part of AMA Phoenix for a variety of reasons—one being the immediate access to tools and resources that AMA has in the Valley as well as nationwide.”
Nyandamu has graduated summa cum laude from Grand Canyon University, Phoenix, with a bachelor’s of arts degree in communications with a minor in marketing. She has held various positions while at GCU, including Marketing Division Assistant at the Career Impact Center.
Nyandamu has been responsible for developing internal marketing strategies, planning social media campaigns and analyzing company public relations and digital marketing initiatives along with her duties working with students and young professionals at AMA Phoenix.
“We live in an environment of rapid change and technology disruptions. To thrive in our digital climates, we must have avenues to marketing intelligence and a trusted network of individuals in our field,” she said. “I truly encourage marketers to be members of AMA Phoenix to become equipped with the industry knowledge and expertise to become better, smarter marketers.”
The AMA Phoenix Star Member of the Month Program was created to promote and retain AMA Phoenix membership, encourage upcoming leaders and recognize high-performing active members who give back to AMA Phoenix.
