This event has been honoring excellence in marketing in Arizona for over a decade and we’re proud to continue the tradition for a 15th year. The winners will be announced at the awards show that evening.

Here are the guidelines for submitting your Spectrum Awards entries, including written and supportive material criteria, the People’s Choice award and submission requirements.
Before you begin the entry process, make sure you have these components ready.

The written summary of each entry should be included with each entry and submitted as a Word Document. A maximum of three pages will be accepted.
Submitters must be either Arizona-based or have a regional/district office in Arizona. Campaigns submitted must have been implemented during calendar year 2016. Entries will not be accepted after midnight MT on March 31, 2017. (deadline has been extended) You have until 11:59pm, Monday – April 3 to upload your files.
All written summaries must be uploaded into a single Word document and should include the following material:
At the beginning of the document, please provide a general description or statement about your campaign in 2-3 sentences. This will help judges grasp your campaign at-a-glance.
The reminder of the summary (max. 3 pages) needs to provide more detail in the following format:
Because the AMA Spectrum Awards are not solely based on design and graphics, it’s important to tell the story of your campaign. Be sure you fully tell the story and how your campaign helped your business or your client’s business.
If your campaign is not very graphic with design, do not be discouraged. It’s the story, statistics and importance on your business or your client’s business that matters. Enter your campaign!
Campaign Samples & Supportive Material
Finally, your entry needs to include supportive materials such as samples of the campaign pieces in pdf/jpeg format or encapsulated videos. The images will be accepted in JPEG of PDF only formats and must be less than 5 MB combined. Please include at least one pdf and/or jpeg sample of your campaign. Be sure to include a jpeg version that best represents your campaign. It will be included in the awards ceremony presentation which will be used to announce the winners.
Please include a high resolution logo file for use in pre-event video marketing.
We do not accept physical samples of entries. All entries must be provided digitally through the entry system. If you have questions on submission, email the AMA Spectrum Awards Committee at firstname.lastname@example.org.
People’s Choice Awards Exhibit Display
Each entry is required to have one digital image uploaded (preferably a jpeg file) that best represents the entire campaign that will be display at the Spectrum Awards event along with the campaign summary. The image and entry summary will be voted on by the Spectrum Award attendees to determine the “People’s Choice Award” winner.
Payment is made online by credit card to start the submission process. (Click on the entry button above). Simply pay for the number of entries you would like to make. At the end of the registration you will receive a confirmation email with instructions on how to upload your files along with Dropbox link and file naming instructions. AMA Phoenix has chosen a highly respected panel of professionals to judge the 2017 Spectrum Awards. The Awards subcommittee has set all the judging criteria and is responsible for tabulating the final results. The expert panel of judges will be reviewing the submission based on the summary of the campaign, its objectives, strategies, tactics and results. All point scoring is on a percentage scale: 100 percent being the highest possible score. The entry with the highest percentage in its category is the winner. In the case of a tie, the judges will collectively decide the winner. Judges are not permitted to judge entries from their own industries. The finalists in each category will be notified in April.
