Ken Reinstein has been in public relations and marketing for nearly thirty years, with experience in health care, senior living, sports, entertainment, licensed collectibles, small business and more. He started with Samaritan Health (now Banner Health) and currently works at a dynamic organization called Sun Health.
From 1998 to 2004, he directed the PR efforts for Spawn creator and McFarlane Toys’ founder Todd McFarlane, generating millions of dollars in annual worldwide media coverage. I’ve worked with the NFL, MLB, NBA, NHL and NASCAR. He’s produced live radio and garnered national media placements on ESPN, NBC, CBS, Fox, Bloomberg, Vanity Fair, BBC and more.
He also ran his own agency for seven years with local and national clients, including hip hop dancers and household names in entertainment and sports. He’s arranged Sports Center segments, attended the Grammy’s, hung out with Iron Maiden, Alice Cooper, Emmitt Smith, Ozzy Osbourne and Maurice Sendak; and helped promote an 87-year-old, first-time author. Ken has created the branding for two companies and initiated beneficial connections for dozens of friends.
Ken’s editing, writing and networking skills have received high praise and a Copper Anvil Award of Merit. When he decided to return to work in 2011, he went from job seeker to job offer in five days for an unposted position, thanks to LinkedIn.
He has connections all over the world, but must importantly he’s met and learned from many great people. Ken is a native of Toledo, Ohio and a graduate of Arizona State University’s Walter Cronkite School of Journalism. He has lived in Scottsdale with his wife since 1999 and been in the Valley since 1985.
