Responsibilities: The Secretary corresponds with members and others, prepares Board minutes, maintains Chapter historical records and keeps current with the AMA activities.

Preferred Skills: Excellent written communication skills. High-level organizational skills.

Time Requirements: Avg. 5 hours per week

Vice President Sponsorship

Responsibilities:  Responsible for the preparation and management of an overall comprehensive fundraising/sponsorship plan for the American Marketing Association, short and long term strategy, goals and action plans in order to meet the goals determined by the Executive Board. This will be accomplished through an array of strategies including, but not limited to soliciting and cultivation of potential sponsors and corporate support and mentor volunteers, annual campaigns, event and other fundraising.

Preferred Skills: Superior presentation and interpersonal skills and the capacity to inspire and motivate prospective sponsors. Experience setting fundraising strategy and accomplishing annual fundraising goals. Experience in overseeing the development process including planning, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of sponsors/donors through the various functions.

Time Requirements: Avg. 5 hours per week

Vice President, Volunteers

Responsibilities: Manages and implements the association’s volunteer program, including recruitment, screening, on boarding, training, placement, recognition and engagement of volunteers and evaluation of all volunteer activities. Oversees logistics, scheduling, and programming of volunteer engagement activities, including volunteer trainings, and volunteer recognition events.  Collaborates with the AMA Board to assess opportunities and establish new volunteer programs.

Preferred Skills: Experience coordinating volunteers and/or working in a supervisory capacity for volunteer recruitment and training. Strong organizational and relationship building skills. Must be people-oriented, work well as part of a team, and professionally represent the Phoenix AMA to the public and volunteers. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Time Requirements: Average 5 hours per week
